Another week, another instalment of IP miscellany!
Events
Firstly, we bring you the sad but necessary news of the cancellation of this year’s 28th Fordham IP Conference. While participants won’t be able to enjoy it this year, their registrations are being automatically rolled over to next year’s conference (unless the organisers hear otherwise!). The next Fordham IP Conference will therefore take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 7-8, 2021.
Similarly, the EUIPO’s IP Case Law Conference will now take place on 15-16 October 2020 in Alicante. Further details can be found here.
On a brighter note, the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys has a dizzying array of online events, as well as (future) conferences and meetups for its members to choose from, listed here.
Lastly, the Center for Intellectual Property, Information and Privacy Law at UIC John Marshall Law School has announced that its 11th Annual Ethics in the Practice of IP Law Seminar will take place online on 5 June 2020. You can find out more and register via Eventbrite, here.
