Conferences
This year, the EPIP Conference will be held online from September 9th to 11th . The conference programme is available at the dedicated webpage. Participation is free of charge, but registration before September 5th is required.
The UIC John Marshall Law School will also held its 64th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on November 13th . The event will run online. The conference schedule is already available and the registration is open.
Vacancies
The Queen Mary University of London is looking to hire two research assistants, each on a fixed-term contract of 12 months. The post holders will be working on topics such as cloud contracts, blockchain and artificial intelligence. The closing date for applications is August 31, 2020.
WIPO is looking for an intern to join the Global Challenges Division’s team in Geneva. The internship is remunerated and he application period runs until September 10, 2020.

A great opportunity for IP professionals and students alike– AIPPI is running its 2020 AIPPI Essay Prize, with this year’s topic being ‘COVID-19 and its impact on the world of IP’. Submissions should be between 2,500 and 3,000 words and the deadline is August 31, 2020.
