Training & Events
Following the UK Supreme Court’s recent decision in Unwired Planet v. Huawei (for the IPKat’s coverage, see here), the 4IP Council is hosting a webinar by Richard Vary (Bird & Bird) to discuss its implications, taking place on 1 September 2020 at 16:00 CEST. Register here.
The European Patent Office’s 6-month pre-EQE preparation course commences on 1 September 2020 in a blended e-learning format, with more information and registration available here.
UCL Laws’ virtual training courses resume next month, with a course offering including IP licensing: An advanced level drafting workshop (30 September-1 October 2020) and Drafting and negotiating IP terms in research contracts (16-17 September 2020).

The EUIPO is seeking linguistic assistants with an interest in IP for Spanish, German, French and Italian language support to assist with tasks such as proofreading and translation. The respective adverts are available via its job portal here.
