Conferences, webinars
On September 8, the Foundation for Research on Law and Business (FIDE) is organising the 15th Global Digital Encounter, “Towards a more predictable legal framework for cross-border IP disputes: the ILA-Kyoto Guidelines”. This event will discuss the main lines of the 13 December 2020 Kyoto Guidelines on Intellectual Property and Private International Law, drafted under the auspices of the International Law Association.
On October 5 and 6, the Hungarian chapter of Licensing Executives Society International (LES Hungary) is holding a virtual conference, “Sharing is caring: Pooling IP Assets for Greater Efficiency”. Topics covered include technology transfer, trade secrets, patent pools, and IP licensing.

Other
The International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Court of Justice of the Andean Community are launching the first Andean Community Moot Court Competition. The Competition, conducted in Spanish, is open to Spanish-speaking law students. Deadline for registration is September 8.
