On the 14th November, the Chair for the responsible development of the Metaverse of the University of Alicante, in cooperation with the G-IPTech Centre at the School of Law of Queen’s University Belfast, is hosting a free webinar called “Exploring Content Moderation Challenges in the Metaverse”. The event will address the application of the Digital Services Act to internet platforms that offer experiences similar to the Metaverse. More information here.

The IPR University Center in Helsinki, Finland, is hosting a free webinar entitled “How Should Standard-Essential Patents (SEP) be Regulated in Europe?”. The event is taking place on the 4th December and it is possible to register here. The seminar is part of the IPR University Center’s, the Finnish Institute for International Affairs’ and the LUT University’s joint research project addressing “Technical Standards as Critical Intangible Capital for Finnish Company in an era of Strategic Competition (StandardEdge)”.
