The Katfriends at IQPC Exchange wish to inform IPKat readers that their conference Global IP Europe Exchange will be held on 11-12 March 2024 at Hilton Düsseldorf, Germany.
An invitation-only conference, this event aims to bring together 70 leaders from across IP, patent management and brand protection to discover emerging technologies, increase protection and develop lasting connections.
This year’s agenda, which features several speakers from a variety of backgrounds (including leading companies and the judiciary), focuses among other things on the newly established UPC’s first court cases, the rise of generative AI, and an increasing attempt to focus on a more employee-centric IP strategy.
The conference also offers a variety of formats, including roundtable discussions, case studies, 1:1 meetings, and presentations from some of the most respected experts in the IP field.
As mentioned, this is in invitation-only event. To secure an invitation, an attendee must have an active project within their function, and must answer ‘yes’ to two of the following criteria:
- I control where the IP, Patent, Trademark, Brand Protection or Anti-Counterfeiting budget is spent
- I am the Head of IP, or Head of Patent, Trademark, Brand Protection or Anti-Counterfeiting
- I have a personal annual budget of £500,000 or above
- I have an active requirement for intellectual property solutions within the next 6 – 12 months
