- WIPO Young Experts Program: The WIPO Young Experts Program (YEP) aims to upskill and expand the capabilities of the next generation of global IP leaders to help build innovation ecosystems around the world. The 2-year competitive program will give 10 young and talented professionals the opportunity to work first-hand on WIPO’s various initiatives. The Program offers exposure to both technical and strategic aspects of IP, allowing YEP participants to gain skills and knowledge that can contribute to the future economic growth of their countries and regions. APCA – call for papers: APCA partnering with the School of Law at City University of Hong Kong to host its 2024 Annual Conference which will be held 18-19 November 2024 in Hong Kong SAR, People’s Republic of China. The theme of the conference is ‘The Crossvergence of Asian Copyright Standards?’ Reflecting the unique blend of convergence and divergence in copyright regulatory standards across the diverse jurisdictions of the Asian-Pacific region, this theme aims to explore how different jurisdictions are shaping their copyright laws and theories in the face of new challenges and local needs. APCA invites scholars at all levels to submit their paper proposals by 1 September 2024. Submit an abstract of up to 300 words including the author’s name, title, and affiliation with the email title: APCA2024 – [Name] submission. Submissions should be sent to [email protected]
Accepted papers will have the opportunity to be published under a special issue/column of Asia Pacific Law Review, the flagship Journal of the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong.
